VIDEO: Life sciences InvestMaryland finalists compete for $100,000

Finalists in the life sciences category of the InvestMaryland Challenge represent some of the most innovative start-ups in Maryland and beyond.

The competition, hosted by the Maryland Department of Business & Economic Development, will award three $100,000 top prizes in the general industry, information technology and life sciences categories, and another $125,000 in cash and in-kind awards. Companies also have the opportunity to receive direct investments from venture capital firms and angel investors.

The winning companies will be announced on April 15 at the Brown Center at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.
