InvestMaryland Challenge winners to be announced May 7

The third InvestMaryland Challenge closes tomorrow when the winners of all $700,000 in prizes are announced by the Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED). They will include four grand prize winners of $100,000 each, and two dozen other companies that will take home smaller awards from DBED partners.

The Challenge attracted 214 companies from eight states, Washington D.C. and two foreign countries — Brazil and Israel. There are 12 finalists, three each in the contest’s four categories: IT, Defense & Security, Life Sciences, and Sustainability & Exploration.
